Old Colorado City was founded in 1859, before Colorado Springs existed, and the westside still has plenty of older homes. Remodeling an older house means respecting what's there while fixing what isn't: uneven floors, dated bathrooms, worn-out stairs and kitchens that were last updated decades ago.
